Wrapping your hands with boxing wraps is an essential skill to protect your hands and wrists during training and competition. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to wrap your hands properly:

Materials Needed:

  1. Boxing hand wraps (usually around 120 to 180 inches in length)
  2. A flat surface to lay out the wraps

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Start with Clean Hands:

    • Wash your hands thoroughly before wrapping to maintain hygiene.
  2. Unroll the Wraps:

    • Unroll the hand wraps completely. Locate the loop at one end; this will be used to secure the wraps.
  3. Place the Loop on Your Thumb:

    • Place the loop over your thumb, and hold the other end of the wrap in your opposite hand.
  4. Wrap Around Your Wrist:

    • Wrap the fabric around your wrist several times to create a base. Ensure it's snug but not too tight, as you want to maintain circulation.
  5. Wrap Across the Back of Your Hand:

    • After securing the wrist, wrap the fabric diagonally across the back of your hand and then back down to the wrist.
  6. Wrap Around Your Thumb:

    • From the back of your hand, wrap the fabric around your thumb to secure it.
  7. Secure the Knuckles:

    • Wrap the fabric across your knuckles, going from your thumb to the little finger and back. Repeat this a few times to provide ample support to your knuckles.
  8. Wrap Between Your Fingers:
